Director's Statement: Wrought was borne from an idea that contained the perfect overlap of our two passions-- Joel's for capturing entropy in nature on film, and Anna's for thinking about our place amongst other species. In making Wrought, we hope to inspire audiences to experience their own humanity a little differently by exposing and decomposing the lines between the human-created categories of self and other, human and non-human and even nature and culture.
