Synopsis: Kimura, a noble Samurai of feudal Japan, is drawn back into the life of his wayward childhood friend, the bandit Kenji. Kimura fails to convince Kenji to restore honor and meaning to his life, resulting in violence and a final, fatal showdown. Only one will survive, forever bearing the burden of having extinguished the life of his dear friend.
