Synopsis: Through the student-run Fair Change Community Services, filmmaker Yvonne Sung reveals the unfair treatment and its effects on Toronto's homeless under Ontario's Safe Streets Act. Fair Change Community Services is a student-run legal clinic at York University's Osgoode Hall Law School. Fair Change has been serving the homeless community since 2009. Their goal is to reduce tickets convicted under the Safety Streets Act in the City of Toronto and to help reduce fines of those who have been convicted in the past.Interviews with Fair Change's past clients show firsthand experiences of victims of the Safe Streets Act. With fines of thousands of dollars piled-up through years of homelessness, it details how the Safe Streets Act not only fails to solve homelessness but also targets the vulnerable in the cruelest way possible.Ticketed for What?
