Director's Statement: Based on real events in Edmonton Alberta “1979” I was the Whistle Blower at only 3 yeas old. I reported to my parents that the family running the day care was abusing the kids. There were 9 boys & me. No charges were pressed, due to my Paediatrician having the belief that if the kids went through reporting etc we would remember the events. They thought we'd forget.
Regarding the Scoop. I came to find out not many people know about this - even my Aunt who was a government councillor - had never heard of it. Thought it was important to bring out of the dark and into the light. Would love to make a doc on this subject. My directorial career started as a Documentary filmmaker.
