The Actor
Directed by John Paskievich
Logline: A charming portrait of Ken D'Cruz, a baby photographer who dreams of acting.
Synopsis: Ken D'Cruz, originally from India, worked as a Winnipeg photographer until his death in 1990. Charmingly disheveled much of the time, he possesses such a remarkable talent for taking baby pictures that customers call him back year after year to chronicle the growth of their offspring. D'Cruz scrambles from Winnipeg suburbs to the rural outskirts of the city, his beat-up car eventually breaking down and his weary feet in need of a good massage.
