Logline: A shy Asian female engineering graduate struggles to find and keep a job in the 1970s when sexism was rampant in a traditionally white male dominated profession.
Synopsis: It's 1974 when Jade Lee enrolls in engineering school, a time when less than 3.6% of Canadian engineering students were women. She graduates in 1978 and leaves her hometown to find work in Calgary. Three job applications later, she is hired but, after only one year, she is fired when she thinks her job is going well.
