PS Kensington
Directed by Dan Browne
Logline: A portrait of Kensington Market during the annual summer Pedestrian Sundays.
Synopsis: One of my first experiments with time-lapse, a roll of Super 8 shot during a Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market. I moved into 258 Augusta Ave. in 2002, and the next year my neighbours at La Palette started the PS Kensington initiative, which has continued ever since. My house had a patio door that opened directly onto the street, outside of which my friends and I would transpose the apartment's living room, and samba drummers would close every Sunday with crowds dancing into the night.
