Painting the Grass Green
Directed by Lasha Mowchun
Logline: Two oil workers confront their own denial about climate change.
Synopsis: Unlike many oil workers, Chad voices deep concerns about climate change. Chad feels a sense of responsibility when he thinks about how climate change will affect his son's future on the Canadian prairies. Like Chad, his brother DJ is also an oil worker. But on the contrary DJ doesn't worry about climate change at all - it's just the weather. Filmmaker Lasha Mowchun explores the influence of climate change denial on the psyche of two oil worker brothers.
