Director's Statement: I grew up Jewish and I self-identify as Jewish but until a short time ago this meant simple things like celebrating the Jewish holidays and observing the sabbath with my family. What I did not know was that there is a deeply powerful side of Judaism that recognizes, honours and respects the spiritual passage of the dead. In my film My Jewish Death I delve into this aspect of my religion.
