Director's Statement: Derek McMechan & Sara Bulloch are both filmmakers and editors from Winnipeg, Canada. Derek edits independent films, illustrates, and creates news graphics for CTV. He loves to explore new mediums, history, and put his cinephile obsessions into practice. Sara's films have screened with Gimli Film Fest, Light Field, and Toronto Jewish Film Festival. She started OurToba Film Fest in Winnipeg and her films often explore identity, mental health, and relationships.
