Synopsis: An old vaudevillian rules out her own death as a possibility. As it comes close, however, she reviews with regret the passing of her stage act. Re-counting her past, she is suddenly renewed when it occurs to her, for the first time, that there was a connection between the fatal surgery to remove the voice boxes from her trained dogs and her dead husband's broken neck.
