Logline: (A) cinematic magnum opus... call it Dostoyevsky meets Monty Python

Synopsis: A newspaper reporter breaks a front page story that almost breaks her heart. The story involves murder, gambling, money-laundering and the kidnapping of a Finnish hockey player. Plus, she realizes that she is part of a complex love triangle involving a Russian gambler hiding from the KGB, a perogie factory girl and the daredevil news photographer with whom she is in love.
