Director's Statement: At a time when most artists are perpetually busy, balancing side-hustles and art, it was lovely to capture Amber O'Reilly experiencing 3 weeks in nature entirely dedicated to her poetry. In adapting to this change of pace, she read the guestbook featuring former artist in residency, and composed "Deep Bay" based on their and her own processes. Riding Mountain National Park is a beautiful place and documenting Amber in that environment was a lovely privilege.
