Director's Statement: Cubicle Island continues my series of my autobiographical short films and online videos. This film is the darkest one so far, about the ironic situation of how collecting data that is intended for the betterment of the lives of Canadians is an extremely tough job at a sad, sometimes miserable place to work.

I aimed for laughs of each moment I describe in the film, but it seems that I cannot shake the severe awkwardness of certain situations! Sometimes they're too sad, or even too gross. It's the cost of being too honest!
