Director's Statement: "In crafting this short film, I wanted to delve into the often-unspoken complexities of female sexuality and the fine line between admiration and obsession. Our protagonist, a young fish plant worker, embodies the yearning and confusion many feel as they navigate their desires in a world that often dismisses them. Her infatuation with a local fisherman serves as a lens through which we explore themes of vulnerability, delusion, and the impact of societal expectations on women's identities.

Through a blend of humor and darkness, we aim to highlight the absurdity of her obsession, while also inviting the audience to empathize with her struggles. The fish plant setting becomes a metaphor for the environment in which she feels trapped & surrounded by the catch of the day yet unable to grasp her own desires fully.

In an era where female narratives are more vital than ever, I hope this film sparks conversations about desire, boundaries, and the nature of obsession - encouraging viewers to reflect on their own relationships with love, lust, and the sometimes fishy waters of infatuation."
