Beep It
Directed by Gregory Zbitnew
Synopsis: Beep it! Beep it!' provides a 'behind-the-scenes' look at the production of 'Muskeg Special', which was filmed in communities along the Hudson Bay Rail Line in Northern Manitoba during the summer of 1979.
To synchronize the sound recorded on reel-to-reel tape with images on the 16mm movie camera, an electronic 'beeper' was used to mark the takes. This compilation of 'slates' is presented in the order the scenes were recorded to provide the viewer with an introduction to the film crew, and to the people interviewed in the feature-length documentary 'Muskeg Special'.
